Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Charles Ramson MP, along with Minister within the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Steven Jacobs, conducted a walkthrough of the National Stadium, Providence, as preparations continue for Guyana’s highly anticipated National Drone Show in celebration of the nation’s 60th Independence Diamond Jubilee.
The site visit was carried out alongside representatives of the Joint Services, technical teams, and stadium officials to ensure all systems are in place to safely accommodate patrons for the grand showcase on May 26, 2026, from 5 PM to 7 PM.
On Independence evening, the National Stadium will come alive as the skies illuminate with breathtaking drone displays, telling the story of Guyana through light and innovation.
