[www.inewsguyana.com] – The People’s Progressive Party [PPP] continues to spread Christmas joy around the country by hosting Christmas Parties with over one thousand children in East and West Berbice, led by General Secretary, Clement Rohee.
On Sunday, December 21, parties were hosted at Zeelugt, East Bank Demerara and Belle West, Canal No. 2, West Bank Demerara and at Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara.
A PPP media release said that each event attracted over three hundred children ages 4-10. The children were entertained by clowns, Disney characters and St. Nicholas. Toys and goodies were also given to each child.
Rohee joined in the fun, playing musical chairs and singing Christmas carols with the kids.
Additionally, on Monday, December 22, the PPP continued to spread the joy and happiness with four more children parties at Anna Regina, Wakenaam, Leguan and Timehri.
