A source stated “Spice” was speeding along the EBE public road in the vicinity of the Lady Stein village when he overtook the vehicle in front of him.

However, this move ended up badly with “Spice” ‘clipping’ the car in front of him with his vehicle. As a result of this, he lost control of vehicle and it toppled repeatedly.

It is unclear as to whether the taxi driver was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident.

After public spirited persons managed to pull his body from the wrecked vehicle, he was rushed to the Leonora Cottage Hospital and was pronounced dead upon arrival, the source also said.

Police are continuing their investigations into the matter.

“Spice” leaves to mourn his wife and two young children.
