[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Police Narcotics Branch busted a New York bound passenger with cocaine in approximately four bottles of rum at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) yesterday, Sunday, October 05.
The suspect was an outgoing passenger to New York on a Caribbean Airlines Flight. According to a police report, the ranks conducted a search on the baggage in which 5 kilograms 829 grams of cocaine were found.
The man has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
