[www.inewsguyana.com] – Veerasammy Permaul bamboozled the batsmen of the Windward Islands to lead Guyana to a 92 run win on Monday at the final day of the West Indies Cricket Board’s (WICB) Professional Cricket League (PCL) at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.

Permaul ended with a career best of 8-36 as the Windward Islands were bowled out for a second innings total of 190.

Devon Smith was in attack mode for the Windward’s but fell to Permaul for 55 just after the lunch break.

Guyana will now play Barbados in round three from Friday at the Guyana National Stadium.

After their two commanding victories, Guyana Jaguars now lead the points table with 34 points.
