An unidentified fisherman was killed on Tuesday morning following an accident, at Houston, East Bank Demerara.
Reports reaching INews indicate that the pedal cyclist who was riding on the western carriage way of the road, lost control and collided with a car in the vicinity of Rahaman’s turn. The man died instantly.
Traffic Chief Deon Moore related that the details surrounding the accident are still sketchy. He confirmed that the driver of the car is presently in police custody as investigations are continuing.
