A Pastor from Rosignol, West Bank Berbice (WBB) has found himself in hot water after allegedly being caught in an ‘unacceptable position’ with an underage schoolgirl.
INews was told that the ‘man of cloth’ who is in his mid forties is presently in police custody and is expected to make his court appearance tomorrow.
According to reports, the man was detained by police ranks during the weekend for the incident which will forever tarnish his reputation.
The matter was supposed to have been heard at the Court today, however, a relative stated that the police had not finished preparing the pastor’s file jacket for the offence(s).
Also, they were said to be awaiting information or guidance as to the way forward from the office of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).
INews understands that the young girl with whom he was caught is under the age of 16 and a current student in secondary school.
