Female orphans of the St. Ann’s Orphanage benefitted from a one-day workshop aimed at educating them on making wise financial decisions.

The training themed “Seven steps to becoming a millionaire teen” was hosted by Outliers Zone, an organisation which provides financial counseling and mentorship.

Founder of the Organization, Athalyah Yisrael explained that the event was hosted in commemoration of her foundation’s first anniversary, as her way of giving back.

Yisrael’s company usually provides training for companies and their employees, to get them to put an end to the “pay-check to pay-check’ lifestyle.

After the training at the St. Ann’s Orphanage, the young girls were given piggy banks to encourage them to save.

The workshop was made possible through sponsorship from corporate Guyana including companies like Farfan and Mends, Sterling Products, KFC, Floor It Plus and Metro.
