Police investigators had reason to question Waldron during the initial stage of Goodman’s disappearance.

Goodman, of William Street, Kitty, was last seen with another teacher at the Sports Hall where she had taken a few of her students to participate in the Inter-Secondary School Basketball Championships. There are reports that the teacher told her students that she would be staying behind as she expected someone to pick her up and take her home.
