According to the press release from the EU’s Office, Ambassador Videtič is expected to present his Letters of Credence to President David Granger on Wednesday September 09, after which he will officially take up his duties as Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the European Union in Guyana.
“Ambassador Videtič, who arrived in Guyana over the weekend, is married and has a daughter. He hails from Slovenia and previously served as its Ambassador to Montenegro. Over the next four years he will continue to build on the already well-established relations between Guyana and the European Union,” the release noted.
