National Stadium to host Red Steel; Zouks and Tallawahs in LCPL

Cpl Team[www.inewsguyana.com] – Guyana’s National Stadium will play host to the same fixtures in the 2014 edition of the Limacol Caribbean Premier League as it did in 2013

According to the Caribbean Premier League organizing Committee, Guyana/Antigua will host the second week of the tournament, with the Amazon Warriors and Hawksbills both looking to make full use of home advantage.

On July 17, the Antigua Hawksbills welcome the Jamaica Tallawahs, while the Amazon Warriors welcome Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel in the second game of the day during the evening.

On the 19th, the Hawksbill will host the Barbados Tridents while the Warriors Play the Zouks at Providence.

On Sunday, the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium will host the Hawksbill and the Red Steel while the Guyana National Stadium will host a rematch of last year’s finals with the Jamaican Tallawahs coming to face the home side.

Meanwhile, the semi finals and Finals will take place at Warner Park in St Kitts, one of the new venues to be added as part of the LCPL 2. The tournament begins on July 11th with the opening fixture, being the Guyana Amazon Warriors vs Antigua Hawksbills.
