National Ruggers arrive in Hong Kong


IMG-20150324-WA0002[] – The National Rugby Squad arrived in Hong Kong, China on Monday morning and had their first practice session on Tuesday for their upcoming seven series on the Asian continent.

Guyana had their first session against world ranked Russia as both teams practiced their set pieces as well as situational players during the scrimmage.

Technical Director of the team Angus Thompson was pleased with the session as well as Coach/player Theodore Henry

The Guyana team or “Green Machine” as they are dubbed will start their bid as the 27th seed in the tournament on Friday against Zimbabwe.
