[www.inewsguyna.com] – Prime Ministerial Candidate for the A Partnership For National Unity/Alliance For Change (APNU+AFC) coalition, Moses Nagamootoo sent a stinging message to former President Bharrat Jagdeo over recent statements made at Babu John.

Jagdeo had chided President Donald Ramotar for being “too democratic” insisting that the President should have kicked some asses in the tenth Parliament.

But Nagamootoo at a Linden rally was not very accepting of the statement. He said, “I want to tell the ass kicker…He needs pampers for his mouth.”

He should not talk about kicking anybody’s ass,” said Nagamootoo. The Prime Minister hopeful also noted that it is time Guyanese people look at the past as lesson for the future and build from it.

“It is time that we heal the division in this country…It is time that we re-enter history…and like a photo album…we can see many happy moments and moments that created hurt,” he underscored.

He said too that “the past cannot enslave us, we are the masters of our destiny and we decide if we want to reenter our past it must be to create a future.”

According to him, if Cheddi Jagan accepted Forbes Burham as the President of a coalition then accepting David Granger as the Presidential Candidate is not a huge issue.

“Today we must bury the hatred and hatchet of division or else we do not deserve to be free,” Nagamootoo told the massive crowd.
