Management and Nurses at GPHC clash

gphc web[www.inewsguyana.com] – Several Nurses at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) despite being forced by management to work have refused to do so.

“We are told that we have to work with our wet feet and in dirty water, everyone that had to sign on by the matron’s office was soaked” one Nurse of the Professional Batch 122 said.

He believes they are being treated unfairly. “Batch 65 get send home by their tutor Penny Lane, what happen to we, everyone else must work, because why?“ he exclaimed.

The Nurses explained that working in the soaked and dirty environment could also lead to contamination between patients and themselves and expressed the belief that management should exercise better caution.
