Police are on the hunt for a man who reportedly stabbed his former partner and mother-in-law late last night (Wednesday) at Greenwich Park, East Bank Essequibo.
According to a source, the man who hails from Parika, jumped through the window of the house where the woman and her mother are presently staying and then carried out the brutal attack. He then made good his escape.
Details surrounding the incident are still sketchy.
Both women were rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital for emergency medical treatment. Their condition is listed as critical but stable.
The police are presently searching for the suspect as investigations continue into the matter.
