[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – two – year – old Akash Baldeo of Anna Regina New Housing Scheme ,Essequibo Coast was remanded to prison today by Magistrate Sunil Scarce on a charge of murder.
It is alleged that on August 04, the accused was involved in an argument with 17 – year – old Alex Narine of Columbia village, Anna Regina Housing Scheme over a computer when he allegedly stabbed him in the back.
Narine was pronounced dead on arrival at the Suddie hospital. Baldeo was not required to plea to the indictable charge and will return to court on August 20. He was unrepresented.
