[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are investigating the death of Jason, age and address unknown, whose charred remains were found in a house at 201 Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara, at about 02:00h, today Monday September 22.
According to the police, investigations revealed that a man entered the house through a window and a fight subsequently ensued between himself and Jason, an occupant of the house whom he knocked unconscious. He then set the building on fire and escaped, a police press release noted.
Three other occupants of the house suffered burns while Jason perished in the fire. A man has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
