Linden woman disappears after leaving home for work

A Linden family is seeking the public’s assistance to locate 21-year-old Shonnette Odessa Dover, a bartender who went missing two Saturdays ago.

The missing woman’s mother, Simone Benjamin related that her daughter left home for work at a local bar in Linden and was not seen or heard from since. Calls to the woman’s mobile device went unanswered.

“Two Saturdays ago, she left and we ain’t hear back anything,” the distraught mother said.

“This is the first time she went to work and didn’t come back. We calling the phone and the phone just keep going straight to voicemail all the time,” Benjamin said.

The woman added that her daughter’s friends are continuously calling to enquire but she has no positive answers to give them. Benjamin stated that a missing person’s report has been filed with Police in Linden.

“I would like to hear from her…all I just praying and hoping that this girl, wherever she is, let her call…I can’t even sleep…if she call I will feel good and me pressure not gon raise up,” the mother of six said.

Dover was last seen clad in a yellow vest, blue jeans and gold slippers.
