[www.inewsguyana.com]Kerwin Estwick – a handyman – of Amelia’s Ward Wismar, Linden was remanded to prison for the offense of robbery underarms, to which he pleaded not guilty.

The allegations state that on October 29 at McKenzie Linden he stole several items amounting to $419,000 property of Sharda Timal. According to the prosecution, the complainant is a businesswoman who was selling ground provisions in and around McKenzie when she was attacked by Estwick, who confronted her with a gun.

Based on the seriousness and prevalence of the offence, the prosecutor objected to bail and the accused will make his next court appearance on November 12 at the Christiansburg Magistrate’s Court. [Royan Abrams]
