Landwww.inewsguyana.com] – Head of the Impact Albousytown Project, Deputy Superintendent Wayne De Heart and ‘A’ Division Commander Clifton Hicken today (Monday, June 02) made a spot visit to the community of Albouystown where they inspected landscaping work at the site for the community’s sport complex.

Two months ago, the Impact Albouystown Project team with the assistance of the residents of the community identified a stretch of land where they requested a multi complex sports facility be established.

The police then sought and received permission to use the land and have since then engaged several agencies and individuals to assist in the preparation of the facility.

Today, the two senior police officers were flocked by the young people in the community when they visited with many of them questioning how soon the complex would be ready for their community.

At the moment, the young people within the community use the roadways to play their sports such as football, cricket and in some cases basketball.
