Kaneville resident charged with Breaking & Entering

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Rawlin Boston, a 26-year-old labourer of Kaneville, East Bank Demerara was granted $150,000 bail on a break and enter charge.

He appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore and pleaded not guilty to the offence, which alleged that on June 19 at Diamond Housing Scheme, he broke and entered the dwelling house of Grace Innis and stole one gas bottle, one computer, one DVD Player, one PC Tablet, two colognes and $175,000 in cash, together valued $766,400.

Police Prosecutor, Seon Blackman objected to bail on the nature of the offence and the punishment it attracts. He added that the Police are investigating matters of similar offences against the defendant. The prosecutor’s objection was overruled and the defendant will return to Providence Magistrate’s Court on October 22.
