[www.inewsguyana.com] – Jumbo Jet Auto Sales will organize one of the most lucrative if not the most lucrative horse race meet in Guyana in August 25 at the Port Mourant Turf Club.
The Guyana Horse race cup is in its eighth year and has received a significant boost by the auto sales company.
The featured race set for 1,800 metres will see some of the best horses bred in the Caribbean competing for a whopping $4 million first place prize.
The event will feature eight other races some of which will also draw seven digit purses but none bigger than the featured 1,800 metres event.
With the closing date for entries set for this Saturday, the top jockeys and stables with receive awards and incentives from the organizers of the event.
The meet is expected to be run under the rules and regulations of the Guyana Horse Racing Authority as patrons as well might cash in on some incentives that will be revealed on race day.
