Johnson & D’Andrade continue in rich form

[www.inewsguyana.com] – NALIS held its second Annual “Fit for Literacy, Fit For Life” 6.4K Run/Walk Event on Saturday, November 8 in Port-of-Spain.

The Guyanese-Trinidad based dynamic duo Kelvin Johnson finished in 21:22 while Lionel D’Andrade finished in 21:31 in the event to placed first and second respectively. The Trinidadian, George Smith was third in 22:10.

D’Andrade highlighted that, “I felt lazy going into this race. I had no speed at all, because right now I am not focusing on speed training, just doing a lot of mileage as I am preparing to defend my title in the upcoming Suriname Marathon.”

The NALIS “Fit for Literacy, Fit For Life” event had 460 participants and was geared towards promoting literacy, health and fitness in Trinidad & Tobago.
