The Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 Response Team, on Monday, administered the COVID-19 test to the Hon. Manzoor Nadir, M.P., Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Sherlock Isaacs, A.A., Clerk of the National Assembly and a few members of staff of the Parliament Office.
The Speaker and Clerk, as well as other Parliamentary staff, were exposed to COVID-19 after two Opposition Members of Parliament showed up for the first sitting of Twelfth Parliament inspite of being tested positive for the virus some days before.
