Harmon appointed as General Secretary of APNU

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Attorney – at – Law and APNU Shadow Minister for Public Infrastructure, Joseph Harmon has been appointed as the General Secretary for A Partnership for National Unity.

A statement from the APNU today, noted that Harmon was appointed by the APNU Leadership Council at a meeting held on Saturday September 20, 2014 at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition, Hadfield Street, Georgetown.

Harmon is a sharp critic of the ruling People’s Progressive Party (PPP) government and is not shy about making his feelings known about many projects undertaken by the administration.

He has voiced his opinion on almost every controversial project in Guyana. He has been a lifelong member of the People’s National Congress and served as the APNU’s National Campaign Director in 2011.

Harmon is also a retired Lieutenant Colonel and became more involved in politics when he left the Army. He also served as an advisor to the late President Demond Hoyte.

  1. de old time pnc reliccs tecking of de party.. gdf could remove pppc from office without a shot being fired. gdf have the fire power to do it. if u go into all pnc strong holds u will find out its awashed with illegal weapons. these are the only brains in pnc and its most frightening . these brains were working over time for 28 long hard suffering years on most guyanese. hey another 28 years of pnc will do wonders to wake up pnc guyanese supporters that they are pnc slaves
