Guyanese man caught with cocaine in milk at CJIA

Cocaine[www.inewsguyana.com ] – A Guyanese man was nabbed at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) on Friday, June 26 with almost half a million dollars’ worth of cocaine in milk.

At the time of his arrest, the Berbice resident was an outgoing passenger on a Dynamic Airways flight destined for the JFK airport in New York. iNews understands that approximately 12kgs of cocaine was found in false sides of the man’s suitcase and in powdered milk packages.

The discovery was made by ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU). His name has not been released and the man remains in police custody assisting with the investigations.

  1. You Guyanese has to stop this behaviour , now coke in milk powder. What is wrong with these people? they have tried putting coke in everything why can they not see this is not working . I suggest they take up farming for a living leave drug trafficking alone.
