Guyana has recorded seven new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases to 124.

Of the seven new cases, six are males while one is a female.

The total number of persons tested to date are 1218 with the total number of positive cases being 124 with 1094 negative.

Authorities announced that 45 persons that have recovered and there are 69 active cases in institutional isolation. The number of deaths remains at 10. In the COVID-19 ICU there are 3 patients.
