Gunmen invade house in vicinity of Ruimveldt Police Station

crime scene[] – Three men who robbed a resident just a few doors from the Ruimveldt Police Station were this morning (Monday, January 12) arrested and are in police custody.

iNews has been informed that the men, two from Albouystown and one from Charlestown, pounced on a home owner as he ventured outside his lot 6 Public Road Ruimveldt home to check around his building after hearing a strange sound.

One of the gunmen confronted the resident and ordered him inside the house where they relived him of a cell phone and his laptop before leaving the area.

The Police were immediately informed and a police patrol responded, resulting in the arrest of the men; however the firearm was not recovered.

Police sources confirmed that the suspects are known characters. The police are hoping that the trio will lead them to where they stashed the firearm.
