[www.inewsguyana.com]The current inclement weather has hampered a number of outdoor tournaments planned for the end of year season.

The most recent being the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company, Hand In Hand Insurance 4 Day Inter County  Tournament.  All of the playing venues are waterlogged.

When iNews Sport visited the DCC ground today, the entire playing surface was submerged, with play being virtually impossible for at least two days.

According to reports, the other venue, Enmore, while not as bad as the DCC ground, had water on the outfield and boundary area.

The Guyana Cricket Board is yet to indicate the possible date when action will commence.

The first round of action should have pit the Demerara side against their president’s 11 counterparts at Enmore community centre with Essequibo playing Berbice at the Demerara Cricket Club Ground during the same period.

The second round will pit Berbice against the President’s 11 and the Demerara side against their Essequibo counterparts while the third round will bring together a much anticipated clash between Berbice and Demerara.

The three round tournament will go until December 15th.
