GTM, Guyoil on board with Caribbean collision

[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Guyana and Trinidad Mutual Fire and Life Insurance (GTM) company and the Guyana Oil Company (Guyoil) on Friday teamed up with the Guyana Boxing Board of Control (GBBC) to host 2015’s first professional boxing card.

The five fight card set for February 21 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall will be headlined by a title fight featuring Guyana’s Clive Atwell and Jamaica’s Sakima Mullings.

At the handing over ceremony held at the GBBC’s head office on Republic Avenue, representatives of both companies noted their enthusiasm for the event while handing over the cheques.

President of the GBBC, Peter Abdool thanked the sponsors for coming on board and highlighted that the sponsorship will go a far way in making the card entertaining and successful.
