(www.inewsguyana.com) – Former Judge, Donald Trotman escaped death when his car, PFF 7984 burst into flames as he was driving it.
iNews learnt that the senior Trotman was at the time heading East along the East Coast highway in the vicinity of Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara when he noticed the vehicle smoking.
His son, AFC Executive Member, Raphael Trotman told iNews that after his father noticed the car smoking, he quickly pulled to the shoulder of the road and several persons rendered assistance.
The residents opened the bonnet of the car and douse the blaze with sand from the road.
The senior Trotman served Guyana as a judge for several years.
