The 48-year-old father of three, of Lot 146 Sixth Street, Alberttown, Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to all the charges; which stated that between June and October 2018, while being entrusted by GWI with a number of Republic Bank cheques totalling some $967,317 — in order that he may give same to Shane Samuels, Corlette Clarke, Dexter Forde, Lana James and Randy Hope — he fraudulently converted same to his own personal use and benefit.

His defence attorney made an application for bail for his client, and this was not objected to by Police Prosecutor Adduni Inniss.

Bail was granted in the sum of $102,000 in one matter, and Mc Kenzie was released on his own recognizance on the other charges. He will make his next court appearance on April 15, 2019.
