Former GDF Sergeant jailed for 36 months

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Former female Sergeant attached to the Guyana Defence Force (GDF), Colleen Easton was today sentenced to 36 months imprisonment on a conspiracy to commit a felony charge.

Easton of Ogle Front, East Coast Demerara, was found guilty of the offence, which stated that on December 22, 2010 at Georgetown, she conspired with person or persons to commit a felony relating to obtaining money by false pretense.

The Court heard that she obtained the sum of over $2.8M with a Bank of Guyana cheque from the Accountant General Department, Ministry of Finance, property of the State.

The case was prosecuted by Sergeant Vishnu Hunt and saw the testimony of eight witnesses – three of whom were police officers, two from the Ministry of Finance, one from the Auditor General’s Office and two from the Bank of Guyana.

The Prosecution facts stated Easton is the Mother-in-law of Nigel Adams, who faced several charges during the investigations in this matter.

Easton was represented by Attorney – at – law, George Thomas.

A former GDF—–and another Former GDF want to rule Guyana and Guyanese..But when that would be wanabe ruler is asked about GDF killing people and moving BALLOT BOXES that Former GDF say “eh hem mm meh ent no nutin bout duh” den him seh ” him was outa de country wen duh appen” den him seh ” wen rodknee was blown up to bits n pieces by a GDF him seh him was outa de country and him ent know bout duh either but one ting him kno fuh shore is him want to rule Guyanese.
