[www.inewsguyana.com] – Former reporter of the Guyana Chronicle Newspaper, 45 – year – old Mark Bradford was today placed on $50,000 bail by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry after he pleaded not guilty to a fraudulent convergent charge.
It is alleged that between November 1 and December 24, 2013 at Georgetown, with intent, he fraudulently converted the sum of $525,050 into his own use and benefit.
The money was entrusted to him by Elton Cordis to pay for a venue, music and police for a foam party.
Police Prosecutor Michael Grant did not opposed bail and the matter was adjourned until October 31.
