[www.inewsguyana.com] – Next year’s Flex Night International body building and fitness show will not take place this month as was scheduled by the organization.

According to Director of Flex Night Inc. Donald Sinclair, a number of challenges have pushed the event back to the first week in March.

The event which will feature the cream of the crop of athletes from Suriname and other countries was expected to be the organizations premier event for the year but its postponement Sinclair noted will only leave more time for perfection.

Sinclair said that the countries expected to be involved have already been informed of the reasons for the postponement and the new dates, with athletes getting more time to fine tune their muscles.

Meanwhile the host venue, Fitness Paradise Gym is also taking advantage of the delay and to ensure that they make athletes, spectators and judges comfortable are in the process of moving to a new location.

Surinamese Soepe Koese was crowned Mr. Flex Night International last December at the National Cultural Centre.  Koese had won the 154lbs and Under category earlier.
