Dr Singh explained that the policy imperative against which Budget 2015 is being crafted is continued growth and accelerated development across Guyana, pointing out that over the years successive budgets presented by the PPP/C Government have enabled the Guyanese economy to achieve greater resilience, with eight years of uninterrupted growth since 2006, at a time when the rest of the global economy was reeling in crisis.
