Festival City resident slapped with three charges granted bail

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Adrian Reece of Festival City, North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm, assault and damage to property was ordered to post a total $135,000 bail on Tuesday, April 29.

Before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, he pleaded not guilty to all three charges; particulars of the first charge alleged that on Monday, April 21 at Festival City, he inflicted grievous bodily harm to Shawn Mill. 

The second charge alleged that on the same day at Festival City, he unlawfully assaulted Natasha Mill.

The third charge stated that on the said day, he damaged one Samsung Galaxy S3 cellular phone valued $130,000, property of Natasha Mill.

Police Prosecutor Michael Grant did not object to bail, but noted that conditions must be applied.

Bail was granted on conditions that he report to the East La Penitence Police Station every fortnight, until the completion of the matter and return to Court on May 13.
