[www.inewsguyana.com] – The father and daughter pair of Catterpaul and Joanne Deo spent quality time this weekend on the golf court winning Sanjay’s Jewellery-sponsored pair golf tournament at the Lusignan golf course on Saturday, March 22.
The family of golfers who is renowned around the course held on for a close win in the tournament which featured 44 swingers. The new format used the combined scores and 3/4 of the handicap.
The Deos won with a combined score of 144, beating off the pair of Haresh Tiwari and Ravi Persaud, who scored 145.
Third place went to the Cummings brothers, Roy and Andre.
Closest to the pin went to Alfred Mentore and best gross was taken By Mohan Diddanauth. Meanwhile, the company also confirmed their commitment for future tournaments, one as early as October this year.
