[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 50 – year – old Essequibo woman was today granted $200,000 bail for possession of narcotics by Magistrate Dylon Bess when she appeared in the Anna Regina Magistrates’ Court.
The woman, Renet Li of La Belle Alliance, Essequibo was nabbed by a police patrol yesterday (June 2) with four grammes of cocaine while riding along the Anna Regina Public Road.
Attorney – at – Law Lachmie Dindyal who represented Li in Court had pleaded for a reasonable bail for his client. He told the Court that she is a first time offender and a mother of three.
Li is expected to make another appearance in on June 18.
