They were not required to plea to the second charge which detailed that on the same day, they discharged a loaded firearm at Kevin Aaron also with the intent to maim, harm or disfigure.

The duo pleaded not guilty to the third charge which alleged that they unlawfully assaulted Guy Merrel, so as to cause bodily harm.

Police Prosecutor Bharat Mangru told the Court that on the day in question the duo went to the virtual complainants’ (VC) home and first met Merrel who was seated under the house. The two men accused him of stealing five pounds marijuana and pulled out a hand gun and gave him a beaten.

Aaron reportedly intervened and the number one accused (Sadloo) fired a shot at him.

Attorney-at-Law Mark Waldron who represented the two accused made an application for bail to be granted to his clients, to which the Prosecutor objected.

The matter was however transferred to Magistrate Ann McLennan for report and fixtures, where the facts were re-read to the duo.

Bail was refused and the matter was put off until January 30.
