– charged for causing death by dangerous driving
A 63-year-old part-time taxi driver and drama instructor was granted $300,000 bail after he appeared before Magistrate Leron Daly on Tuesday, at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
Godfrey Henry pleaded not guilty to the charge which stated that on April 28, 2016, at Homestretch Avenue, he drove motor car HC 419 in a dangerous manner to the public, which resulted in the death of Fitzroy Bradford.
Police Prosecutor Shellon Jupiter had no objections to bail; however, she asked the Magistrate to grant the defendant substantial bail. She further recommended that Henry make weekly visits to a Police station.
He will make his next court appearance on September 7, 2016.
