According to a statement, the three Diplomatic Missions reiterated their ‘strong and considered opinion that the voting and counting processes had been free, fair and credible.

“Our diplomatic observer teams, consisting of some ninety observers spread throughout nine regions, found nothing to question the integrity or credibility of the voting process…The Guyana Elections Commission has once again done a credible job in ensuring that this critical election day phase of the process was free and fair. We would like to congratulate Chairman Dr. Steve Surujbally, Chief Elections Officer Keith Lowenfield, and the Commissioners and staff of the Guyana Elections Commission for their successful organisation of these polls,” the statement added.
