Demerara Bank gives back to the community

[www.inewsguyana.com] – In an effort to give back to the community and in keeping with its corporate social responsibility, the staff of Demerara Bank Ltd on Saturday September 21, gave the Gentle Women’s Home on Brickdam a face – lift.

The staff painted the patio area of the home and spent quality time with the elderly women there. However, this is just the beginning of several events planned by the bank.

“We’re planning to do some other work at some orphanages and maybe do some community clean up. This is not only in Georgetown; we have branches in the outskirts of the country that also do these things from time to time,” said Bank Official, Amrita Henriques.
