The decomposed body which was found yesterday by ranks at Craig River Dam, East Bank Demerara, was identified as that of 53-year-old Infant Forrester of Timehri, East Bank Demerara.

The body of the labourer was spotted by fishermen in the area who quickly alerted residents, who in turn contacted the police.

INews understands that the man was taken to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre about three weeks ago by one of his employers but has not been seen since.

Forrester’s son, Dexter Forrester stated that his father was not known as a trouble maker, but he was an alcoholic that would suffer seizures on a regular basis.

Police “A” Division Commander told INews earlier today that a Post Mortem Examination is expected to be conducted on the body tomorrow.
