[www.inewsguyana.com] – The daughter of Guyana’s first Executive President Linden Forbes Sampson Burnham has had enough of her father’s leadership of Guyana being criticized and took the APNU+AFC stage with Joey Jagan, the son of former President, Cheddi Jagan, in a show of unity.

Ulele Burnham made an intriguing appearance at the final APNU+AFC rally for the 2015 elections where she endorsed the coalition and “buried” her father.

The incumbent People’s Progressive Party has been utilizing Burnham’s rule as campaign material regarding it as the dreaded era.

Indeed many Guyanese are cautious of the history surrounding Burnham’s socialist rule of Guyana.  The appearance of the younger Burnham on the APNU+AFC campaign stage was a shock to many, but not as shocking as the words that followed her appearance.

“I am here to bury Burnham, I gotta be here to bury him because is every election his grave getting dig up again and again so that they could talk jumbie story,” said the younger Burnham.

She said that the APNU+AFC coalition represents the best alternative available to take Guyana forward.  She however warned that it was not up to the coalition alone to institute change, pointing out that Guyanese have an important role to play by voting on May 11.

According to her, this should not only be effected on May 11 but afterwards when the electorate holds the coalition to the promises made in its manifesto and on the campaign trail.

She was joined by Joey Jagan, the son of PPP founder Cheddi Jagan, who reaffirmed his support for the coalition.

The younger Jagan, a former PPP candidate, has switched sides contending that the PPP has lost its way from the ideals of his father.

“They cussing out Mr. Granger because he was in the military. Nothing is wrong with serving in the military. The military teaches discipline. That’s what this country needs,” said Jagan.

The endorsement of the younger Burnham and Jagan Jnr is being seen as intricately important for the coalition since both Jagan and Burnham are considered the fathers of the nation.

  1. Sorry Ms Burnham daughter, you had no choice that your mother chose a despot to father you. However, Granger had a choice, he choses to follow Forbes Burnham. We sorry young lady, don’t stop there, ask Granger to do likewise.
The Guyanese people have a choice also, by no means yall should put Granger as President. Read between the lines.
    Who will bury who?

  2. Was Burnham ever buried?? As a child I used to hear that they threw his body overboard because he was too stink to be brought to land. Anyway whatever the case the PPP always have a right to dig up he dutty story coz his own friends said everything he touched turned to shit. Now his daughter wants a chance too. As for you Joey, nobody cares about the shit that comes out your mouth. You are just like the rest of CRAPNU. All you want is a taste of the power.
