The police this afternoon, in a released statement, said that the Government Pathologist Dr Nehaul Singh gave the cause of death for Hemchand Dalchand, 20, of Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara (ECD), whose body was found lying in a pool of blood, with several wounds, on the Oleander Gardens Public Road, ECD, as multiple injuries consistent with that of a motor vehicle accident.

Police, who are investigating the death, had said that Dalchand’s body was found on Saturday at about 18:00hrs without a jersey and footwear which he had been wearing when he left his home.

The man, who was said to be unemployed, was last seen alive on Saturday, when he reportedly left his home in the company of some female friends to attend an entertainment show at the Ogle Community Centre.
