[www.inewsguyana.com] – Fifty – year – old Lebert Thomas has been admitted to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his abdomen after he was shot by gunmen on Sunday morning.
According to the police, at about 00:15 hrs on Sunday December 20, 2015, Thomas, who is a Shopkeeper of Melanie Damishana, East Coast Demerara, was parking his motor vehicle in his yard when he was confronted by two men, one of whom shot him to his abdomen.
The men then escaped; no one has been arrested and investigations are still ongoing.
