Budget to be presented on November 28

Finance Minister, Winston Jordan has officially confirmed November 28 as the date for the 2017 budget presentation in the National Assembly.

During the 46^th sitting of the National Assembly, yesterday, Minister Jordan noted that the date was brought forward from December 5 to accommodate the Parliamentary Opposition’s upcoming party conference.

“In the spirit of compromise, we have deliberated and decided to advance the date to November 28,” Minister Jordan told the National Assembly.
