  1. One of the occupant killed in this collision was my uncle shiv persaud, he was staying in guyana for a couple of months but is from toronto, ont, ca . We found out 6 am this morning after a cousin posted his death on facebook, it was hard to belive at first but after calling family in berbice we found out the worst, it’s hard as i spoke with him 2 hrs before his death and was a shock to find this out. Now we are planning a funeral and trying to bring his remains back to canada. May God bless his soul, R.I.P uncle Shiv!

  2. West Coast Berbice! That’s where I was in a vehicle as a passenger, which crashed into another vehicle two years ago – thank goodness I was not too badly hurt. Condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims of this latest crash.
