[www.inewsguyana.com] – Fifty-eight-year old Brazilian businessman Antonio De Sena was shot dead at Arau Landing, Wenamu River on Sunday April 05 during a robbery.
According to a police statement, at approximately 20:00hrs, De Sena was accosted by a lone man who wielded a firearm demanding cash and gold from the businessman.
Police say that the Brazilian businessman resisted and was shot to the chest. The gunman then took away a sum of cash and made good his escape.
De Sena was later pronounced dead on arrival at a medical facility. Police investigations are continuing.
